2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible The Sky’s The Limit>

Not every woman is cut out to drive a convertible. But if you’re the type that likes the wind in your hair, sun on your shoulders, and a wide-open view of the world, the new 2011 Chrysler 200 convertible might be the car for you. Plus, with the top down, you and the gals are bound to get some extra attention from mysterious admirers on the road.

The 2011 Chrysler 200 is a sexier, updated version the of Chrysler Sebring. While the two vehicles share the same foundation, the new 200’s updated styling and numerous upgrades definitely makes the old Sebring seem like a frumpy step sister. Besides the new name, the 200 gets an entirely redesigned interior. New materials and components throughout the cabin have a much more upscale look and softer tactile quality. On both soft and hard top options, the easy-to-use power convertible folds in three sections and automatically latches in about 30 seconds and still fits all the groceries.

The 200 provides a fun, responsive driving experience, due in part to a completely re-engineered suspension. The model we tested was equipped with a peppy new PentastarV6 that produces a class leading 283-hp that’s good on gas — EPA rated at 19 mpg city and up to 29 mpg on the highway. The standard engine for the base LX model is a smaller, 2.4 liter four-cylinder capable of 173 horsepower. It also gets up to 29 MPG on the highway.

You’ll find plenty of optional bells and whistles to accessorize your new 200 Convertible. The menu includes fog lamps, a tilt/telescope steering wheel, a universal garage door opener, 60/40 split folding rear seat, satellite radio, wireless cell phone link, navigation, a hard drive for storing your digital media, remote start, heated seats, and more.

Drivers of the new 2011 convertible will enjoy elevated peace of mind. Standard safety features include: multi-stage front passenger air bags, front-seat-mounted side air bags, electronic stability control (ESC) with brake assist and traction control, four-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS), plus Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) child seat anchor system. To protect your convertible from theft, Chrysler offers the SentryKey engine immobilizer and security alarm.

Looking at the big picture, the 2011 Chrysler 200 is a sleek, stylish, and sporty option for a mid-sized drop-top that seats four adults comfortably.
