2012 Chevy Camaro SS SS Stands for SUPER STUD>

Let’s face it, women like muscles we also like American Made Muscle Cars, like the 2012 Camaro SS. Keeping with the Chevy Camaro’s long running tradition of marrying stylish bodylines with high performance motors, the new Camaro SS is a blast to drive his handsome good looks are easy on the eyes! In fact, you can see the new Camaro in action on the Hawaii Five-O television show, along with hunky men chasing down bad guys. Book ‘em Dano!

The editors at HerHighway were having flashbacks of classic muscle car chase scenes from the ‘70s and ‘80s as they put the 2012 Camaro SS through its paces in Southern California. Zero to 60 in five seconds is quite a thrill! Even with the Kid Rock’s song “Born Free” blasting out we could hear the smooth and sexy growl of the Camaro’s 6.2-liter V8 conjuring up its 426 horsepower, which is almost as sexy as Kid Rock himself. We think the SS should stand for SUPER STUD! With all that power and brawn, the SS delivers reasonable fuel economy at 16 MPG city and 24 on the highway.

Because it’s designed to be a true enthusiast’s muscle car, the Camaro SS comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission. We had so much fun revving up the Camaro and dumping the clutch for effortless burnouts; we were literally squealing with delight! But if you prefer to let your handsome Camaro SS do the shifting for you, don’t worry. There’s an optional, high-tech 6-speed automatic transmission, which would leave your left foot free to tap out the beat of the tunes on the Camaro SS’s satellite radio system (standard equipment on the SS) of course wearing some hot sexy silver Ardiente boots that fit perfectly in this bad boy American Made Muscle Car.

Other cool standard features include an iPod input and MP3 player, powered windows and door locks, power-adjustable driver and front passenger heated seats, inside rearview mirror with rearview camera display, steering wheel mounted audio controls, Bluetooth phone connection, a universal home remote to open up the garage…and more!

Of course, if you’re going to be zooming around in a fast, powerful ride like the Camaro SS, you’re going to want the added comfort of some great safety features. Chevy comes through in that department too. The 2012 Camaro SS comes standard with antilock disc brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and OnStar. In government crash tests, the 2012 Camaro received five stars for overall front-crash protection and five stars for overall side-impact protection. So Chevy has you covered…even when you’ve got the top down.

For gals that love the handsome, hunky look of the 2012 Camaro, but don’t demand having all that horsepower at the tip of their pretty little boots, the Camaro is also available with more fuel efficient V6 engine that will give you up to 18 mpg around town and up to 29 mpg on the highway.
