Ladies Men Never Know What We Want “Must Haves” in a Vehicle>

There are so many great standard and optional features available on today’s new cars, truck, SUVs and crossovers. So what do real women want? HerHighway, recommends making a list of your “Must Haves” before you start your car shopping we have a great short list to help you out.

For example, if great fuel economy (30-plus MPG) is one of your “must haves,” you should limit your test drives to smaller sedans, hatchbacks and crossover vehicles with four-cylinder engines and / or hybrid (gas/electric) technology to help you stretch every tank of gas to the max.  If you live in the mountains and have to commute on snow-covered roads…all-wheel drive will likely be on your must-have list.

HerHighway “Must-Haves” apply to women who want to feel safe, comfortable and confident about their vehicles while looking and feeling beautiful.

Safety Must Have Features:

Chrysler Uconnect Touch for hands free phone use is a must! Blind Spot monitoring is a must-have, too. This feature lets you know that a vehicle is in your blind spot via illuminated icons on the side-view mirror; and one of our favorite must-haves is ParkSense — built in sensors detect the presence of vehicles and other objects.

Ease and Comfort Features:

FOB Keyless Enter ‘n Go makes our list.  It automatically unlocks doors when you pull the handle so you don’t have to fumble around in your purse for the key.  Then once inside, a simple press of the Start-Stop button brings the Chrysler 300 to life. I’m not totally hooked on the heated steering wheel as a must-have feature; but it does provide full-circumference heating for my hands and it’s a nice complement to heated seats that keep us nice and toasty.

It would be really easy to continue adding to our list of “must haves” for our next vehicle like a spare tire, but all new cars and most husbands already that one covered.  If you’re married, bring him along as the “dreamy co-pilot” that all the ladies have on their must-have lists. Chrysler doesn’t offer that option, but driving one of their attractive 2012 models is sure to help the single ladies get the attention of some hunky prospects.
